Hindko is an old and important language spoken in parts of Northern Pakistan. There are varouis dialects of this Indo-Aryan language. The population of Hindko speaking people is nearly four million and make up 2.4% of the country's total population. They are primarily located in the Northwestern Frontier. There is good number of hindko speaking people in Kashmir region. Hindko is divided into two sub-groups, Northern and Southern, as well as a number of dialects, including Kaghani.
